Warner College of Natural Resources Scholarships

The Colorado State University Scholarship Application (CSUSA) is the application to use to apply for scholarships through the Warner College of Natural Resources as well as scholarships administered through the Student Financial Services Office.

To apply for scholarships, complete the CSU Scholarship Application (CSUSA), available online beginning December 1, 2009. The deadline is March 1, 2010 at 11 p.m. (MST). Go to ramweb.colostate.edu and login using your eID. Select the CSU Scholarship Application (CSUSA) link. Be sure to complete the Warner College of Natural Resources section of the CSUSA.

All applicants applying for Warner College of Natural Resources Scholarships must provide the information listed below. The application material listed below is required for a complete application packet and must be submitted by March 1, 2010. Failure to submit the required information will result in your application not being processed.


Undergraduate students must provide the following:
  • One letter of recommendation must be submitted to http://taurus.cnr.colostate.edu/apps/scholarship/upload.cfm by March 1st, 2010. The format of the letter must be in either Microsoft word, or an Adobe PDF file. The letter should be from individuals who know you well and who can recommend you based on your academic achievement, leadership abilities, activities and personal attributes, and ability to contribute to the Natural Resources industry. This information should be reflected in the text of the letter. We strongly encourage you to check in with the person(s) writing your reference letter to make sure the letter has or will be done and submitted before the March 1st deadline.
  • Incoming freshmen must provide a high school transcript. This must be sent to the Scholarship Committee, postmarked on or before March 1, 2010. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.

Graduate students must provide the following:

  • Incoming graduate students must provide a transcript from the Institution that you received your undergraduate degree from. This must be sent to the Scholarship Committee, postmarked on or before March 1, 2010. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable.


  • Graduate students must also provide a vita that includes a paragraph on where your research is being done, the topic of your research, and when you started your research project. The vita should also include information about your assistantship if you have one and information about any support you are or will be receiving for the 2010-2011 academic year.
